Your phone rings. Someone always answers.
tryorbell picks up on the first ring, talks to the customer, books the appointment, and sends you the details before the call ends.
No new hardware. Forward your existing number and go live the same afternoon.
The missed-call problem
A ringing phone nobody picks up is a customer calling your competitor.
Clinics, salons, law firms and repair shops lose most of their new business in the ten seconds before someone answers. Not to bad service — to a full chair, a lunch break, or a Saturday.
One call, 21 seconds
What happens between the first ring and the booking.
Every call runs the same way, whether it's 11am on a Tuesday or 2am on a public holiday.
It picks up
Your number forwards to tryorbell whenever you're busy, closed, or on another line. The caller hears your greeting, in your business's name.
It hears the language and switches
English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and 27 more. It detects the language in the first sentence and stays there for the rest of the call.
It answers from your own information
Hours, prices, who's on duty, parking, what to bring. You write these once; it never gets them wrong and never guesses.
It books the slot
Reads your live calendar, offers only free times, writes the appointment in, and texts the customer a confirmation.
It hands you the call
Name, number, what they wanted, what was agreed, and a full transcript — in your dashboard and your inbox before you look up.
It knows when to step aside
Upset customer, emergency, or a question it wasn't taught? It transfers to a real person mid-call and tells them what's already been said.
What you get
A receptionist's job, minus the rota.
Sounds like a person
Natural pauses, interruptions handled, no menu tree. Callers routinely don't ask whether it's a machine.
Books, moves, cancels
Two-way sync with Google Calendar, Outlook, Calendly and most practice software. Double-bookings are structurally impossible.
Chases the no-shows
Sends a reminder the evening before and calls back anyone who didn't confirm. Quietly, on its own.
Every lead written down
Name, number, intent and transcript for each call — searchable, exportable, and pushed to HubSpot or Salesforce.
You set the boundaries
Decide what it may quote, what it must never promise, and which calls always go to a human. Change it in plain sentences.
Recordings you own
Storage in your own account, deletable per call, with consent announcements on by default where the law requires them.
Same desk, different maths
What the front desk costs you now.
A full-time receptionist covering forty hours a week, against tryorbell covering all of them.

In use
From the people who stopped answering the phone.
“We used to find twelve missed calls at closing time. Now I find twelve bookings.”
“It handles the price question thirty times a day so my staff can handle the customer in front of them.”
“The transfer is the part I didn't expect. It knows when a call isn't for it, and it hands over cleanly.”
Questions
The things people ask before signing up.
Do I need to change my phone number?
No. You keep the number your customers already know and forward it to tryorbell — either all the time, or only when the line is busy or unanswered. Setting up the forward takes about five minutes with your carrier.
Will callers realise it isn't a person?
Some will, most won't. tryorbell introduces itself by your business name and, where the law requires disclosure, announces that it's an automated assistant. You can switch that announcement on everywhere if you prefer.
What happens if it doesn't know the answer?
It says so and offers to transfer or take a message — it never invents an answer. Anything it couldn't handle appears in your dashboard the same day so you can teach it once and be done.
How long does setup take?
Most businesses are answering live calls within two hours: point us at your website, correct anything it got wrong, connect a calendar, forward the number.
